Tammy Dahms - Board Member

I am the current Vice President of Corporate Partnerships with the Reading Royals and Santander Arena and Performing Arts Center – combining my love of live events with my passion for the Reading community. I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2010 with a B.S. in Business Management and a B.A. in Theater Performance. In addition to my time serving on the BCSS Board of Directors, I also volunteer time with Women2Women.

I reside in Exeter Township with my husband Brandon, daughters Grace & Brooke, my first child Marley (puggle!) and our very ‘special’ foster pup, Jack.

After my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer at 35 years old, I went through genetic testing to learn of my own risk and discovered I carry the BRCA-1 gene mutation – putting me at higher risk of developing breast cancer. In looking for resources available to me, I found and fell in love with BCSS. I am inspired by both those who serve the organization and those whom the organization serves are a strong group of powerful, inspiring, brave women. I am proud to have part of my tribe working towards the common goal of creating a strong, compassionate community.

Fun Facts:
When Tammy was a kid, when she grew up, she wanted to be a singer. She spent nearly 15 years in private voice lessons and participated in theatre and chorus from 3rd grade all the way through college. It’s the hobby she misses the most!
Tammy's favorite thing to do to relax is diamond painting - paint-by-number with hundreds of teeny, tiny little gems!
